FIELD DAY is Friday!! Wear shorts (not short shorts), tennis shoes and bring sunscreen!!!!!!And, maybe a water bottle too! Our class wears green or gold shirts depending on your team.
We will have a Mass on Friday at 8:00, and students are requested to bring items for the food pantry. Fifth graders are asked to bring vegetable oil, (no glass containers) and/or deodorant. Thank you.
Students were given a green form to complete for lunch on Field Day. Please return promptly.
RELIGION: The Chapter 22 test is this Wed. Then we will read Chapter 26. We still have an assignment or two in our Bibles, which we have enjoyed using this year!
ENGLISH: We are continuing our study of diagramming sentences. There were many A+'s on the Quiz!! Super!! Diagramming reinforces the use of the parts of speech! We will have a pop quiz on diagramming compound subjects and predicates soon!!
READING: The test on "Amisted" is this Thursday. Students are bringing home their "WRITING PORTFOLIOS"!!! Please look through them. You will see some of their writing expression!! There are some religious papers included. Please sign the form and return it with your comments. I appreciate it!
VOCAB: We are working to get to the end of Unit 17. So, we will have the test on Thurs., since Field Day is Fri.
